Apartment Layout & Amenities

Living & Sleeping Area:

• Mezzanine Sleeping Area: Features a French-size bed (between a single and a double) nestled under traditional wooden beams.

• Living Area: Includes a single sofa bed, suitable for a child, teenager, or a third adult comfortable with open-plan living.

• Climate: Air conditioning (heating/cooling). Please note: being an attic, on extremely hot days (over 40°C), the AC may take longer to cool the space; a fan is provided for extra comfort.

• Tech: High-speed Wi-Fi throughout.

Kitchenette:

• Cooking: Induction stovetop and microwave.

• Appliances: Refrigerator and a traditional Moka pot (coffee powder required, no pods).

• Essentials: Fully stocked with pots, dinnerware, and basic pantry items (salt, sugar, coffee).

Bathroom & Laundry:

• Bathroom: Equipped with a shower. Please note: there is no bidet and the WC utilizes a Sanitrit system.

• Laundry: Washing machine available (shared with only one other unit in the common stairwell).

• Linens: Fresh bed sheets and towels (1 large and 1 small per person) provided.

Building Access & Timing:

• Check-in: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM. If you already know your flight will land later do not book this accommodation.

• Check-out: By 10:00 AM.

• Flexibility: Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged in accordance with other bookings; therefore, we cannot know or confirm in advance if it is possible. Bag drop-off before 3:00 PM is only possible upon request and prior agreement.

• Access: Located on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Important for Students: Our courses are held across three different venues. Please note that the specific location for your course will be confirmed approximately two weeks before the course starts.

The following distances are calculated from the apartment to the Europass Teacher Academy locations. We have provided only the walking times as they represent the most efficient way to reach the sites:

1. Via Sant’Egidio, 12

• Walking time: Approx. 7–9 minutes.

2. Via dei Rustici, 7

• Walking time: Approx. 14–16 minutes.

3. Via dei Servi, 49

• Walking time: Approx. 10–12 minutes.

How to reach the apartment

From Santa Maria Novella Station (SMN):

• Walking time: Approx. 20–22 minutes.

  • By Public Transport: Approx. 10-15 minutes (Take bus 14A or 14B or 6A or 6B from “Stazione Piazza Adua” to “Colonna Liceo Michelangelo”, then a 2-minute walk).

• From Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci):

  • By Tram: Take the T2 Tram line to the “San Marco Università” stop. From there, you can walk 700 mt to reach Via Borgo Pinti, or take a taxi if you have heavy luggages.

• House Rules: Strict quiet hours (10 PM – 7 AM) and no unauthorized visitors allowed (monitored by security cameras in common areas).
